Step Forward Tees Valley supports local people to overcome the complex reasons preventing them from finding work. These barriers could include physical or mental ill-health, a lack of self-confidence, a gap in skills, a conviction, or an addiction.

Work Choice is the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) specialist disability employment programme. Flexible in design and individually tailored to help you get and keep a job if you are disabled and find it hard to work.

The TRUEview Spouse and Partner employment support programme supports military spouses and partners from the North East and aims to provide a true view/insight into employment and self employment whilst enabling particpants to gain an understanding of today's jobs market. Delivered in association with A&M Consultancy (specialists in employment and career focussed programmes) this programme is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Defence Covenant Grants Fund and has a unique focus on jobs that can lead to a portable career. The programme, which is free to participants, is delivered locally to Catterick Garrison to support the ever increasing size of the Garrison population in an easily accessible location.
